Released as part of the Taste of Phobia anthology (produced Enchanted Architect / Vestra Pictures and distributed by Artsploitation / Kino Lorber,) Chris Milewski's Pharmacophobia segment, while not exactly light-hearted, is a somewhat mild affair akin to an episode of Tales From the Darkside or Tales From the Crypt. This short film features Filmiracle regulars Terry Reilly and Karen Lynn, as well as minor participation from and music by Giorgio Bertuccelli. Bertuccelli worked, in a variety of capacities, with Italian masters Joe D'Amato and Lucio Fulci during their American romps in the late-80s and early-90s.
Taste of Phobia has terrible reviews, with generally much disdain for Pharmacophobia, though I very much enjoyed HorrorBuzz noting it has "the softest of focuses that [they're] convinced took an entire bottle of Vaseline."
